Aging out Shouldn't Mean Facing Adulthood Alone.
For many young people leaving foster care, turning 18 doesn't suddenly mean they have the stability, resources or support to navigate adulthood on their own. A safe home, trusted guidance, employment opportunities and a community to lean on can make the difference between simply getting by and having a chance to build a future.

New Vision Village is being created to help close that gap.
Why New Vision Village Needs to Exist.
When young adults leave the foster system without support, the risks are staggering: homelessness, addiction, incarceration, and lifelong instability. 68% of young men are in trouble with the law in the first 18 months out. But this is not inevitable.
6,124
Children are currently in foster care in West Virginia. WV has the highest rates of foster care in the nation.
20,000
Young people age out of foster care each year, nationally.
40%
Of West Virginia youth aging out of foster care are homeless on their eighteenth birthday.
A Village Built for What Comes Next
New Vision Village gives young adults more than a place to live. It gives them a foundation to move forward.
Designed especially for young adults 18-26 transitioning out of foster care, the Village brings together safe housing, consistent mentorship, workforce development and community in one supportive environment.

It's a place to build independence, develop skills, create meaningful relationships and take the next step toward a stable future.

Your Support Helps Build the Village
