About the event

Join us at the Epicenter on the Ridge, Monday, April 22nd at 9:30am to 2:00pm for the Next Steps Summit & New Vision Village Ribbon Cutting. We will be celebrating completion of the first tiny home for the Village and hearing from speakers on issues around foster kids aging out of the system and the impact that the Village will have on their budding adulthood.  

The Summit will feature special guest speakers including: 

  • Bob Hansen, Emcee, former Director of the Office of Drug Control Policy for WV
  • Ruston Seaman, Moderator, Executive Director of New Vision Renewable Energy and Pastor of People’s Chapel Church
  • Keynote, Jeffrey Pack, Commissioner for WV DHHR Bureau for Social Services
  • Pamela M. Woodman-Kaehler, Office Director for the Foster Care Ombudsman Unit within the Office of Inspector General, WV Department of Health and Human Resources
  • Kathy F. Szafran, MA, LPC, Executive Director of Mountain Health Promise, Aetna Better Health West Virginia
  • Sam Wilkenson & Fairmont Person on Big Picture of the Transition Network and Thoughts of State Challenges
