This summer, the Pilgrim Congregational Church in Duluth, MN turned compassion into action by assembling 30 Ray of Life kits to send to families in need in Ukraine.
After learning about the kits through a presentation by New Vision board member Dave Nonnemacher, they were inspired to help. They raised funds—mostly through a spirited bake sale—and while only a few people were able to attend the kit-building day, the full group played a vital role in bringing this project to life. Their dedication is a powerful reminder that God's church is eager and able to make a global impact when given the opportunity.
One of the latest shipments of Ray of Life kits was delivered to Vinnitsia, Ukraine, and distributed to frontline medics in the Donbas region. These life-saving kits were shipped by our incredible partners at Hand in Hand Logistics, led by Pastor Lee and a devoted team of volunteers. As of July 1, they will have sent their 34th container to Ukraine—delivering over 1,200 kits, plus critical medical supplies, food, clothing, and even a firetruck.
